Preface and Objective
|RAKAN PEMBIMBING PERKHIDMATAN AWAM (AKRAB),
JABATAN PEGUAM NEGARA
| AKRAB is the moving force in implementing first class working culture in the public service. It is established with the objective to provide a medium to give opportunities to officers to function effectively in the effort of increasing performance and competency to the advantage of an organization. Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Bilangan 18 Tahun 2005 entitled Panduan Aplikasi Psikologi Dalam Pengurusan Sumber Manusia Sektor Awam outlined that psychological and counselling aspect must be nurtured in the human resource management and through such approach human capital can be maximized to the optimum.
In line with the Government’s aspiration and the AGC Strategic Plan 2016-2020 to have a high performing, dynamic, competitive and committed human capital, AGC has officially established the Jawatankuasa Rakan Pembimbing Perkhidmatan Awam (AKRAB) AGC on 18 April 2016 while the AKRAB AGC soft-launch was held on 31 May 2016.
With the platform of Jawatankuasa AKRAB AGC, it is hoped that the AKRAB AGC line-ups will be more established and many programs can be scheduled to ensure that AKRAB AGC maintains relevant.
AKRAB AGC is not only responsible to give guidance but is able to influence the working environment in AGC particularly from the aspect of welfare, motivation, esprit de corps, personality, friendship and work relationship. AKRAB AGC must always be geared to shoulder bigger responsibility and always in tandem in creating efficient, experienced and competent human capital resources.
|OBJECTIVE OF AKRAB, AGC|
|The main objective in implementing AKRAB in the public service is to guide officers facing difficulties and challenges in embracing changes in the work force and to enhance their potentials to the optimum.
