A. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SECTION
RECRUITMENT AND PERFORMANCE
MANAGEMENT UNIT
  
ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT,
SERVICES AND REMUNERATION UNIT
Recruitment and appointment of Legal Officers, Assistant Legal Officers and Implementer Group (Permanent / Contract), Managing of the Acting and the Promotion of Legal Officers, Common Services and Implementer Group, Performance Management, Psychology and Counselling Services.
  
Managing Organization Development, Management of Services and Retirement, Managing Leave, Allowances, and Benefits, HRMIS Management and Implementation, Managing the Application of Overseas Visit.
HUMAN CAPITAL AND LEARNING ORGANIZATION
DEVELOPMENT UNIT
Managing and monitoring the implementation of generic and functional courses, Management and coordination of short-term and long-term courses, Managing and coordinating the Application for Practicum.
 
B. INNOVATION AND ADMINISTRATION SECTION
INNOVATION UNIT
  
ASSET MANAGEMENT UNIT
Responsible in ensuring a quality management, coordinating, executing and supervising quality enhancement activities/programs according to the Development Administrative Circular and Governmental Directives.
 
Responsible in the Government's asset management on receipt, registration, usage, storage and verification, maintenance, disposal, loss and write off as well as coordinating the government's immovable assets.
GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT
Responsible in managing general administrative matters, office space, office supplies, store, filing, mails/documents, telephone, transportation, maintenance and cleanliness of office building. Responsible in protection safety matters issued by Chief Government Security Office (CGSO) and Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) including implementing and monitoring protection safety regulations compliance.
 
C. FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT SECTION
BUDGET AND FINANCE UNIT
  
PROCUREMENT UNIT
Responsible for the preparation and application of the Department's annual budget, application of the new provisions, additional provisions as well as managing, supervising and reviewing performance of the financial allocation to be spent efficiently and effectively. Responsible in processing payroll, allowance, personnel’s’ housing/vehicle/computer loan and managing payment for departmental procurements.
  
Responsible for managing Government procurement based on the principles of cost-efficient, effective, transparent, fair and most favourable Government.
 
D. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SECTION
TECHNICAL SUPPORT UNIT
  
APPLICATION SYSTEM UNIT
Responsible in providing reliable and trusted ICT infrastructure and services  includes network, security, hardware and software.
 
Responsible in reviewing, planning, dan managing ICT Strategic Plan, providing user requirements system, developing, testing and implementing AGC's portal and systems.
 
 
E. RESOURCES CENTRE SECTION
COLLECTIONS AND REFERENCES UNIT
  
DOCUMENTATION AND
READER SERVICE UNIT
Responsible in providing information and reference services, updating Acts and Enactments, developing and strengthening legal collections to fulfill the information needs of AGC’s personnel.
 
Responsible in documentation (cataloguing and classification) serial and law reports, binding serial collections, providing current awareness services and handling training on usage of legal database online systems.
INFORMATION LITERACY AND AUDIO UNIT
Responsible in documentation (cataloguing and classification) of legal materials, promoting information literacy programme and to encourage reading habits, digitization and conservation of legal collections.
