The Honourable Dato’ Zaleha Yusof |
- Dato’ Zaleha binti Yusof obtained her LLB(Hons) from Malaya University in 1979. She was born on 2 November 1955 in Kampong Baru, Kuala Lumpur
- Dato’ Zaleha joined the Judicial and Legal Service on 25 June 1979 as a Magistrate in the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court. From 1 August 1981 she held the post of Magistrate in the Sungai Siput Magistrate’s Court.
- On 1 June 1982 Dato’ Zaleha was appointed as Senior Assistant Registrar, of the Terengganu High Court.
- She was promoted as a Federal Counsel on Senior Timescale Grade in the Official Assignee’s Office on 1 November 1982. On 1 July 1988 she was promoted as the Deputy Official Assignee in the Official Assignee’s Office.
- On 1 September 1992, she was posted to the Advisory Division of the Attorney General’s Chambers as a Senior Federal Counsel. She was promoted as the Deputy Head of the Advisory and International Division II in the Attorney General’s Chambers from 1 October 1995 and on 1 June 1997 she held the post as the Deputy Head of the Advisory and International Division I in the Attorney General’s Chambers.
- On 1 August 1998 she was transferred to the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court as a Sessions Court Judge.
- On 1 August 2001 she was promoted as the Deputy Parliamentary Draftsman in the Drafting Division of the Attorney General’s Chambers.
- Later, on 1 September 2004 she was promoted as the Commissioner of Law Revision and Law Reform in the Attorney General’s Chambers.
- Thereafter, on 27 April 2006 she was once again promoted as the Parliamentary Draftsman in the Attorney General’s Chambers until her appointment as the first Solicitor General II in the Attorney General’s Chambers on 1 June 2007.

In 2004 Dato’ Zaleha was conferred with Darjah Kebesaran Johan Setia Mahkota (JSM) by DYMM Yang DiPertuan Agong. On 19th July 2007 Dato' Zaleha was conferred with Darjah Kebesaran Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) by DYMM Sultan Pahang which also carries the title Dato'. |
